TEMECULA, Calif. – Just in the nick of time for holiday revelry and fine wine sipping, Carter Estate Winery and Resort is pleased to announce its Exclusive Méthode Champenoise Tasting Experience in collaboration with Grazing Theory Cheese, which is now available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. indefinitely. The winery is also proudly releasing its very special Carter Estate Cuvée Prestige – a “reserve” style sparkling wine perfect for all celebratory meals and occasions that call for a splendid bubby time.

Carter Estate Winery Unveils an Exclusive Méthode Champenoise Tasting Experience Featuring Grazing Theory

A wonderful weekend activity for sparkling wine and fine cheese lovers, Carter Estate Winery has launched a special new tasting experience – a collaboration between the award-winning vineyard and Temecula-based Grazing Theory, a shop and catering company that specializes in charcuteries and cheese boards. Guests sip and savor three sparkling wines produced in classic French méthode champenoise fermentation techniques – 2015 Blanc de Blanc, 2015 Blanc de Noir and 2015 Brut – all with delightfully unique aromas and tasting profiles. Carter Estate Winery offers the Temecula Valley’s only sparkling wine produced in this intricate method and is one of the preeminent sparkling wine producers in California. The sparklers are to be enjoyed with four delicious cheese pairing selections from Grazing Theory – Double French Brie, Truffle Tremor, Purple Haze and Mahon Manarco – cow and goat milk cheeses that each have distinctive aromas and flavor notes particularly compatible to these sparkling wines.

New Cuvée Prestige Sparkling for Holiday Toasting

One of the state’s preeminent méthode champenoise sparkling wine producers, Carter Estate Winery proudly announces the 2021 release of Carter Estate Cuvée Prestige, a distinguished addition to its award-winning sparkling wine collection. This new sparkler arrives just in time for seasonal merriment and celebrations that call for toasting and sipping exceptional bubbly. Carter Estate Cuvée Prestige or “reserve” style sparkling wine is made from the very best cuvées of any vintage. According to Master Winemaker Jon McPherson, the new sparkling wine demonstrates delicate pinot noir characteristics and a very rich and complex chardonnay backbone full of toasty, yeasty notes and a showy, fine mousse with a bubble trail to go along with its classic aromas – hints of apple, raspberry and tropical fruit with a lightly toasted brioche and hazelnut bouquet. “This terrific sparkler has a nicely balanced sweetness with a fine acidity and a classic touch of astringency with a very dry finish,” making it a sparkler for any celebratory cuisine. It retails for $75 per bottle.
